
Ann's Journey
Ann’s path to workplace mental health training was shaped by both personal experience and professional expertise.
Having overcome the challenges of a difficult childhood and later workplace bullying while balancing single parenthood, Ann knows first-hand how isolating anxiety at work can feel. The turning point came when counselling gave her the tools to rebuild her confidence and wellbeing. That experience inspired her to help others - first as a counsellor, and now as a trainer.
For over eight years, Ann supported clients through stress, anxiety, bereavement, childhood issues and self-esteem challenges. Alongside this, she built a career in the corporate world, particularly in the construction industry, working as a Resources Manager. She managed site teams working remotely, witnessed the pressures of deadlines, responsibility, and loneliness, and even trained teams in practical skills such as working at height. This unique combination of counselling insight and corporate know-how is what makes Ann the perfect person to deliver impactful mental health training in the workplace.

Ann is passionate about changing the workplace culture around mental health. She believes that when people feel supported, they thrive - becoming more productive, better colleagues, and happier individuals with healthier work-life balance. Outside of Work
When she’s not delivering training, Ann loves the freedom of open water swimming, long walks with her dog, dancing at concerts, and spending time with her family. These passions reflect her belief in balance, connection, and joy - the same values she brings into her training sessions.
